Why Notiqo exists

The class should stay useful after it ends.

Notiqo is built around a simple problem: institutions record more teaching than students can realistically search, revisit, and turn into useful study material.

01

Capture the class

02

Structure the knowledge

03

Help students find and use it

The problem

A recording preserves the class. It does not organise the learning.

Lecture capture gives students a second chance to hear what was taught. But the useful explanation may sit somewhere inside a long video, surrounded by discussion, examples, and material the learner already understands.

Students still have to find the right moment, rebuild the structure of the lesson, and create their own path from explanation to revision. Across a term, that work grows with every new recording.

Notiqo approaches the recording as a source—not the finished learning resource.

Our approach

Make course knowledge easier to navigate without losing the course.

01

Start with the teaching

Connect live or recorded classes and the material that gives them context.

02

Add purposeful structure

Create transcripts, summaries, topics, and study resources for distinct learner needs.

03

Keep the path back

Let students move from an answer or note to the relevant source context where available.

Product principles

A more responsible learning layer

These principles guide how Notiqo turns teaching content into post-class support.

Ground answers in course material

Use the lectures and resources connected to a course as the starting point for course-specific support.

Keep source context visible

Help learners return to the relevant lecture or material instead of treating generated text as an unexplained authority.

Support educators

Make educator-created knowledge easier to reuse while keeping the teaching team in control of the course.

Reduce post-class friction

Shorten the path from a learner’s question to the explanation, notes, or study action they need.

Fit varied institutions

Start from each programme’s teaching context, learner needs, and current tools rather than forcing one rigid workflow.

Communicate AI limits

Use careful language, make sources inspectable, and preserve a clear path to human clarification.

Responsible use of AI

Useful answers still need visible context and human judgement.

Grounding an answer in connected course material can improve relevance and traceability. It does not make every generated response infallible.

Notiqo is designed to keep source context close, communicate limits clearly, and support the educator’s role rather than present AI as a replacement for it.

Institutions remain responsible for the material they make available, the teaching decisions around it, and the human support students need.
